I bet you’ve never seen this phrase before: the whimsical universe of unique tights. For some reason, I just had to write it. With that out of the way, let’s talk about unique tights for women!
Tights are having a massive style moment in Fall 2023! No longer just nude or black with varying levels of opaqueness, today’s tights are ready to transform your outfit into a work of wearable art. It’s all about embracing your individuality and upping your style with a pair of jaw-dropping statement tights. As a maximalist dresser, I find the right pair of tights is the perfect compliment to any dress or skirt. Whether you want to add a pop of color, different texture, or print mix it up, tights are an easy and relatively affordable way to shake things up. Ready to give your legs the spotlight they deserve?

3 Ways to Update Your Tight Drawer For Fall 2023
1: Pop of Color! If I am doing a full-on print mix, one of my fave ways to bring some depth to the look is by adding a pop of color via a solid opaque tight. Lately, I’ve been reaching for either Barbie Pink or Cherry Red. Note: Red is HUGE for fall! Adding a pop of the shade with accessories like a pair of tights, a scarf, or a purse is a quick and low-risk wardrobe update.

2: Pop of Print! Obviously, the Kika Vargas dress in this look is a statement in and of itself due to the cut and fabric. To kick it up, I paired it with a fantastic pair of Collina Strada tights that are not only a colourful print but also funky bows! Think of stripes, plaid, or floral as wonderful options to up your tights game.

3: Pop of texture! Whether you are contrasting fabrics (leather and taffeta) or keeping them complimentary (silk and tulle), mixing textures takes your look to the next level (whether maximalist OR minimalist). I love how the cotton/silky texture of the tights plays against the taffeta of the dress and the rhinestones of the shoes, plus the beading of the bag! All of these take the sumptuous texture and shape of the dress to the next level!
FOR YOUR PERUSAL

I will say as much as I LOVE styling tights and their power within a look, I HATE wearing them! They always squeeze at the top and are uber annoying when you have to go to the bathroom. But gee whiz, they sure do look cool! If a sign of insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly despite the same result, then call me insane because, gee whiz, they sure do look good! Maybe someday they will make unique tights for women that are also uniquely comfortable….

PS: I will give a shoutout to Collina Strada for the comfort factor of these bow tights! Rather than the tight band waist, they have a leggings style waist that is lower, not around your stomach.
