Spring 2022 style is full of bright colors and bold patterns! There seems to be a general theme of dopamine dressing: wearing what makes you happy! Additionally, there continues to be a strong desire to express ourselves through style in a way that hasn’t been so strong since the early 2000’s/10’s street style explosion.

This last winter saw a HUGE addition of color to my wardrobe, and spring is continuing the trend. Black will always be a classic go-to, but I TRIPLE DOG DARE YOU to add a piece of hot pink or lime green to your wardrobe. That piece will become your favorite during the upcoming warm months! I pinky promise!

2022 is seeing the return of accessorizing in a big way! From resin rings to detachable collars, these small ticket items are the easiest way to kick-start your wardrobe for the new season. Below are five items I have added or are dreaming of adding to my spring 2022 closet:

Stradivarius Chunky Sole Leg Boots in Beige High

1: Steve Madden Pink Charlize Satin Heels

I pre-ordered these the moment they dropped on the Steve Madden website! Since then, I have worn them to the mall, to a few events, and a couple of photoshoots. The color is GORGEOUS.

Comfort level: HIGH. As in I can walk for them in hours with no pain! They style well with denim, minis, tights, socks, EVERYTHING. Prepare to see these babies all spring and summer long!

My only complaint? I can’t figure out how to clean them! I’m terrified of ruining the satin and probably should have scotch guarded them on arrival.

2: Urban Outfitters Tshirt Dress

Truth: I’ve never been a fan of the t-shirt dress. That is until I found the ones at Urban Outfitters! They are LONG and full enough to be actual dresses and yet look super dope with a french tuck into denim shorts. I just purchased the mushroom one and own a previous season David Bowie one!

3: Skinny Dip Sussie Ruffle Quilted Tote Bag

I think this is my most used tote bag of all time even though I have only had it for two months! It is also my most complimented. This is THE shade you need for Spring 2022, and a tote is a great way to easily add it to your wardrobe.

The best part? It’s only $38!

An elevated tote is a great piece to have in your wardrobe year-round, but especially in the summer months. First, because you can carry a huge water bottle around and secondly because it makes it easy to through a light jacket into for all the FREEZING AC you will encounter!

4: Mustard Monday Detachable Collar

Perhaps my FAVOURITE accessory of the moment, I just love detachable/removable collars! They are a fantastic way to add some print mixing to your spring 2022 look.

I bought the one to the left from Etsy and cannot wait to wear the gorgeous green and lilac combo with some of my Star Wars t-shirts and wide-leg floral trousers! I also own the Ganni pink one linked below and I have been wearing it with everything from velvet dresses to Disney sweatshirts and tulle skirts.

5: Reclaimed Vintage Chunky Butterfly Ring

There are so many fun rings available right now! Better yet, there is NO reason only to wear one or to save them for special occasions. Load up every finger for everyday wear and enjoy feeling so fancy!
